The America’s Cup World Series was inaugurated in Naples on 8 April with an opening ceremony by Filmmaster Events to celebrate in a solemn and spectacular way the legend of America’s Cup.
The sea of Naples played a leading role in the sailing show of the 2012 Edition of the America’s Cup World Series as well as in its Opening Ceremony. 3D video projections, artistic choreographies and flying sea creatures filled Piazza del Plebiscito transforming it into a giant virtual aquarium that will amaze the public. Parente Fireworks was involved in the most important segments of the show, like Teams entrance, Trophy and Flag presentations, thanks to his flames choreographies, expression of the energy that flows on the sailing competition.
Lastly,  the big Finale was closed with an architectural pyrotechnics show of four minutes from the San Francesco di Paola Basilica. The Closing Ceremony has showed another symbol of the city of Naples surrounded by fireworks: Castel dell’Ovo.
The fireworks display, rich and strong, was taken from the Neapolitan pyrotechnics tradition, reinterpreted by Parente Fireworks using colors combinations and a magic mix of effects, on way to give more impact to the show.
